Control and Prevention
Regular check-ups are important, because prevention is better than cure.
We recommend regular checkups for the entire family. Cavities and underlying problems are often invisible to the eye, so X-rays are taken if necessary. If a cavity or a filling that needs replacing is discovered during a checkup, we always use tooth-colored fillings. These are made of composite, and the tooth is rebuilt using fine instruments. Gray amalgam fillings are no longer used in our practice.
During the checkup, your gums are also thoroughly examined, as they form the foundation of your teeth. At the end of each checkup, your teeth are thoroughly polished once more, and you'll leave the practice with a radiant smile.
